Registration for Cardboard Boat Regatta

September 22, 2012 — 12:00-5:00 p.m. — Wilmer Park

Washington College is seeking entries for the sixth annual Cardboard Boat Regatta on Saturday, September 22, 2012.

The official race begins at 3:00 PM at Lelia Hynson Pavilion along the Chester River in Chestertown. Entries are limited to the first 20 boats registered. Approximately half the entries come from the greater Chestertown community, and about half come from Washington College students, parents, alumni, faculty, staff, and volunteers. You will likely get wet!

On the day of the event, all Captains and boats must be on the premises for check-in at the Pavilion at 12:30 PM. Entry fee is $10 per boat and must be received in advance. There will be no walk-ins allowed.

Rules & Regulations – All participants must be at least 12 years of age and wear closed toe shoes and a life jacket. Please read the complete rules on the Rules and Tips page.
